God’s Pure Light

God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
And God saw the light, that it was good:
Gen.1: God, 4 (to:)

Be still, in the humble sanctuary of purest prayer,
In the calm assurance that Truth and Love are here.
Leave behind false idols, mem’ries of the past,
Feel God’s ever-presence now, healing quick and fast.
His promise is forever, at one with Her, true sight;
And from time eternal, I shine as God’s pure light.

Oh give me, Father-Mother, the focus just to walk
With Love and Truth and Life: and with these only talk.
May every act, every deed, be governed by these Three;
So reflect, in one-ness, the Glory that is Thee.
As I pray I just let drop all sense of mortal might,
Dismiss the dark of time, and shine as God’s pure light.
